Yoga,
in its truest nature, is an unraveling of form
and structure into union with Self, the
Spiritual Heart of Awareness.
The
Unschool of Yoga invites you to a rigorous
practice of meeting Self through the practices
of Bhakti and Karma yoga. This year long yogic
journey will serve as an initiation. The yoga
of direct experience honors the path of spirit
stepping into form. Yogi’s will be supported
to discover and bring voice to their own
unique wisdom. The yogic path of Bhakti and
Karma yoga is a vital part of our loving
evolution.
A
Bhav of inner peace, happiness and material
well being, when shared with others has an
impact on our state of mind, calling us to
service to others and embodied life all around
us. Lovingly taking positive action with total
devotion to serve ALL accelerates our
evolution and collective consciousness
Bhakti and Karma Yoga as
Direct Experience
Karma
yoga is the yoga of conscious action,
performing actions as a means of realizing our
Oneness. Any action, from washing the dishes
to making traditional puja can be karma yoga
when preformed with the 'attitude of
awareness', Bhakti yoga is the slender thread
of love that binds the personal heart to the
lotus feet of the Divine. Spiritual acts of
service may awaken an outpouring of loving
devotion. The heart is clear of expectation,
just pure and unselfish acts of service that
call up a bhav of soma, inner peace.
Spiritual
acts of service and conscious action are
practices which deepen … devotion to the Life
Force that animates us All. The inquiry ‘How
May I serve?’ removes our private agenda and
opens us to an initiation, a surrender to a
life full of curiosity, a willingness to
follow the bread crumbs on the path. This is
Unschooling ~ an unhooking, unraveling,
unbinding, unfolding ….a trust that all is
arising and ripening in right timing ~
shimmering potentiality. Outside of Kronos,
the time we measure in structure and form, yet
within the embrace of Kairos, the time of
spacious formlessness, so much wonder emanates
and manifests in the effortless flow of
unfolding into being. This is the initiation
into the Mystery of Union we name yoga.
